Plant-based cream is priced around 3 euros. We put together a recipe for an extra rich cream that you can use for your soups, sauces or other dishes. It will keep for two days in the fridge.
Procedure:
Mix the oat flakes and the high-quality grated coconut in a 1:1 ratio and add about the same amount of water. Let it swell up preferably overnight. For fast use add hot water and wait a few minutes.
Blend the mixture and strain through a cloth. The vegan cream is now ready. Keep the cream in a glass dose (e.g. from a yogurt).
Thanks to the farina on fire it will condense beautifully and the coconut will add a full-cream taste.
